Start every return with us
Contact KM Computers before sending or bringing back a product. Include the order or invoice number, the reason for the return, photographs where relevant, and the result you are requesting. We will provide the next steps and a return reference.
Online cooling-off rights
Where section 44 of the Electronic Communications and Transactions Act applies, a consumer may cancel an eligible online purchase within seven days after receiving the goods. The direct cost of returning eligible unwanted goods may be for the customer's account. Statutory exclusions may apply, including certain personalised goods and unsealed software.
Defective, unsafe or unsuitable goods
The Consumer Protection Act provides an implied warranty of quality. Where goods fail to meet the applicable statutory standard within six months of delivery, the consumer may have the right to choose a repair, replacement or refund, subject to the Act and the facts of the case.
Prepare the product
- Back up and remove personal data before returning a computer.
- Include all chargers, cables, accessories, packaging and documents supplied.
- Package the product safely for transport.
- Do not attempt unauthorised repairs, alterations or disassembly.
Inspection and refunds
KM Computers may inspect the product to confirm condition, contents and the reported issue. Approved refunds are returned through an appropriate method after the return has been validated. Nothing in this policy limits a right that cannot lawfully be limited.
